Production system

How it gets made

I built the pipeline behind my short-form. It transcribes the source, I pick the one idea worth cutting, edit it with captions and cutaways, and it publishes in every format to every platform at once. That's how one person ships every day.

Nothing gets cut until the idea passes three rules:

  1. One idea. If the summary needs an "and", it's two videos.
  2. A hook in two seconds. Picture and words together: a question, a contradiction, a stake.
  3. Stakes the viewer feels. Money, risk, being cheated, being wrong.

Most ideas worth explaining deserve a video. People watch it and remember it long after they skim the text. I write the tools first, then make the videos with them: HyperFrames for compositions rendered from HTML, Three.js and p5.js for motion, Blender for 3D, and Python with FFmpeg to cut, time and deliver every format.

I do my best work on teams that move fast and tell me straight what they think.
